The owner of the 73m (239.4ft) Lurssen TITANIA, a supremely successful charter yacht, invited us to weave our magic. With Head of Brand Design Scott Campbell leading the team, the only place to start was the yacht’s name.
Titania is the Queen of the Fairies in Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream and that instantly lead us to the concept of a modern fairytale. This is a place where SeaBobs magically transform guests into dolphins, where spa treatments leave you floating on a cloud, where crew become sprites bringing all kinds of delights.
By choosing TITANIA, you are choosing to escape everyday life, just for a little while, and to immerse yourself instead in a mythical world of fantastical possibilities, unimaginable experiences and endless delights.
Led by our wise, kind Captain and entertained by our talented crew, a modern fairytale awaits in our floating wonderland. TITANIA, as you’ll discover, is the happiest dream you can dream.
An illustrator was briefed to create a wonderland with Titania herself, inspired by the yacht’s iconic figurehead, at its heart. This would be embossed in full onto the yacht brochure’s cover to create textural excitement.
Where resolution could be closely controlled, individual hand-drawn vignettes were used to illustrate breakfast, lunch, dinner and spa treatment menus, stationery and business cards.
Elsewhere the design was simplified into an iconic logo for use on crew uniforms, linen, umbrellas and on the yacht and its tenders.
