Sean is a chartered naval architect specialising in hydrodynamics in Burgess New Construction. He joined Burgess in 2005 having previously worked as a propeller designer, a naval architect at Cammell Laird Technical Services and, most recently, senior hydrodynamicist and cavitation tunnel test manager at VT Shipbuilding. Sean has been involved in the project management of a number of significant new construction yachts including AZZAM, SUNRAYS, GALILEO G, AMEVI and DILBAR. He has a BEng Hons in Marine Technology from Newcastle University, and in his spare time he enjoys DIY, playing the guitar and spending quality time with his family.
