With professional experience spanning 4 continents over 16 years, Jonathan, a resident in Dubai since 2012 is a true all-rounder who’s equally at home on small or large yachts, in the desert or in the mountains. Most recently Jonathan spent 4 years as GM of the award-winning Dubai Marina Yacht Club, the largest marina in the Middle East, where he was responsible for every aspect of its operation and development. During his tenure, Jonathan and his team grew and diversified both the marina and yacht club sides of the business to provide Dubai yacht owners and would-be yachtsmen with a refined but accessible boating experience.

Jonathan has a strong track record of project management in the marine and travel sectors in addition to his eight years in the marina division and this has enabled him to develop a broad understanding of the yachting industry and related spheres of business as they have developed over recent years in the Middle East. Jonathan is thus ideally suited to lead Burgess’ new Dubai operation and is a key member of our global team.
