KATHARINE is for sale.
Published 22 February 2021
KATHARINE is a 61.3m (201.1ft) MCA compliant motor yacht built to Lloyd's 100A1 classification by Italian shipyard CRN Ancona and delivered in 2000. Her distinctive retro exterior lines are drawn by Paolo Scanu to evoke the golden age of yachting and her Zuretti interiors were updated by award winning Marie Meko during an extensive refit in 2017, which included many mechanical and AVIT upgrades. Following her 20-year survey she presents in excellent condition throughout and is a sought after yacht in the Burgess charter fleet.
Part of her success as a charter yacht is her remarkably large sun deck featuring a huge mosaic lined jacuzzi, a dining table shaded by the hardtop and an informal lounge-dining area aft, plenty of versatile deck space for exercise equipment and a 4K projector with 120in screen for movie nights.
There is a second al fresco dining option on the upper deck aft, shaded by the overhang, and a convivial sun lounge aft with optional awnings for shade.
A circular lounge on the main deck aft is another popular guest space and a walkaround deck adds a promenade element.
Steps starboard aft on the main deck lead down to the spacious tender garage and beach club area where her canoe stern's transom folds down to create a sea level swim platform.
Her 80sqm (861sqft) sky lounge has large picture windows, a feature fireplace and a 75in 4K TV, and aft there is a formal dining room with doors opening onto the aft deck.
The main saloon has a bar, lounge seating and another 75in 4K TV, and large sliding glass doors open onto the main deck aft.
All her guest accommodation is forward on the main deck, benefitting from natural light and excellent views through large picture windows. The full beam owner's suite has a private office, a lounge area to starboard, walk in wardrobe and the his and hers bathroom has a spectacular large classically sculpted marble bath. A large VIP double suite, three further double suites and a twin suite complete accommodation for 12 guests in six cabins.
Twin 2,000hp Caterpillar diesel engines give her a top speed of 15 knots, a cruising speed of 13.5 knots and a maximum range of 6,000nm at her passage speed of 11.5 knots. She has two guests RIB tenders, 10.5m and 6.5m, plus a crew tender and a good selection of watertoys including an inflatable 6m waterslide.
We are excited to present this outstanding yacht to market asking USD 21,900,000. A relentless schedule of maintenance and upgrades leaves her in turnkey condition, as our 360 tour and physical inspection will confirm, so please contact your Burgess broker to arrange an inspection at her current berth in West Palm Beach, Florida.
Not offered for sale to U.S. residents while in U.S. waters.
