Jump the queue - 84m Dutch new build available Q4 2020

Burgess is delighted to offer for sale a new construction project, the ICON 280, due for delivery in Q4 2020 at a recently reduced asking price of EUR 89,500,000*.

With build slots filled at the best yards in Europe, this is a chance to take delivery of an 84m (275.6ft) new build yacht as early as 2020.

The ICON 280 will be a state-of-the-art yacht, more technologically advanced and available for delivery sooner than any other large yacht currently in build at a premium shipyard. With the creative input of an innovative new owner, she can be made-to-measure.  

ICON 280 has pedigree Northern European credentials. She is in build with ICON of The Netherlands at its Harlingen facility with Dutch naval architecture by Van Oossanen and exteriors by London’s Tim Heywood Designs. Interior design options have been prepared by Gimena Mazzeo Design, though her new owner is welcome to commission interior design by their preferred designer.

There is a touch-and-go foredeck helipad for EC 135 or equivalent, and a large, eye-catching infinity pool on the main deck aft. The bathing platform, beach club, sea-level gym with shell-door sun terrace, wellness centre with hammam and sauna are on the same level with, and linked by a corridor to, the lower deck accommodation, making those amenities easily accessible for guests.

She also has an indoor cinema and wine tasting bar with extensive cellar space on the bridge deck, and palatial main and upper deck saloons for relaxing or entertaining, plus formal and al fresco dining options. On the sun deck, a jacuzzi forward is flanked with sun pads and there are sunny and shaded areas aft with bar, lounge, Teppanyaki grill and space for up to 200 people to party.

She sleeps 19 (12 on charter) across seven cabins, with five oversized guest double cabins on the lower deck and a 60sqm VIP suite on the main deck. The huge 126sqm owner’s suite, forward on the upper deck, has sweeping 270 panoramic views, his and hers bathroom, office, walk-in dressing room and wardrobe. Sliding glass panels open onto balconies port and starboard, and forward is a private sun lounging area.

Powered by twin ultra-efficient 1,500kW CAT diesel motors (equivalent to over 4,000hp) and clean-emission generators, she also has retractable stabilisers by Rolls-Royce and the latest bow thrusters for ultra-quiet operation.
